Prior to that, from 2003 to 2005, they pursued their Master's Degree in Networking and Internet Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Before their Master's, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering from the same university, studying from 1999 to 2003. Dileep Mouleesha also attended The Air Force School (TAFS), Subroto Park, for their schooling between 1985 and 1997.

In terms of additional certifications, Dileep Mouleesha obtained the "AI For Everyone" certificate from deeplearning.ai in June 2019.
