Kim Abbott

Kim Abbott has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Kim is currently working as the Head of Service Design - EMEA at WONGDOODY since October 2022. Prior to this, they were the Creative Director, Experience Design at House 337 from January to September 2022. From June 2020 to January 2022, they worked as an Associate Experience Design Director at This Place.

Before that, Kim held multiple roles at AnalogFolk. Kim started as an Experience Designer from September 2015 to April 2017, then became a Senior Experience Designer from April 2017 to October 2018, and finally an Associate Experience Design Director from October 2018 to May 2020.

Kim's earlier experiences include working as a UX Designer and Junior UX Designer at River Island from June 2014 to September 2015. Kim also worked as a Photographer and Art Director as a freelancer from May 2008 to November 2014. Additionally, they had various roles as a User Experience Designer, Designer and Art Director, and Assistant Stylist during their freelance period.

In the early stages of their career, Kim had internships at MTV Networks, Eagle Rock Entertainment, and New York University.

Kim Abbott has a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Business and Studio Art, which was obtained from New York University between 2005 and 2009. In 2010, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Photography at the Edinburgh College of Art, which they completed in 2012. Following that, Kim attended General Assembly in 2013 and 2014 to study User Experience Design. As for additional certifications, they became a Judge at the International Digital Experience Awards, offered by Awards International, in July 2021.
