Cal Bowers

Cal Bowers has a diverse and extensive work experience history. Cal started their career as an intern at Collegiate Directories in 1996. Cal then worked as a Marketing Manager at MultiAd for a year before becoming the Owner, President, and Co-Founder of Alliance Venture Mortgage in 1998. Cal held this position for a decade before joining Wells Fargo Home Mortgage as a Senior Loan Officer for a brief period in 2008.

In the same year, they transitioned to Falcon Sports Properties at Bowling Green State University (BGSU), serving as the General Manager for three years. Following their time at Falcon Sports Properties, Cal worked at BGSU in various roles, including Senior Director of Development and Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations.

In 2021, Cal joined RøBEX as the Vice President of Growth, responsible for business development strategy and securing new business deals. Simultaneously, they held the position of Director of Business Development at RøBEX for a few months in 2021. After their tenure at RøBEX, Cal worked as a Financial Representative at Modern Woodmen of America, where they helped individuals and businesses with financial planning.

In 2023, Cal continued their career as an Alumni Advisor for The Ziggy Collective at Blueprint Sports, an NIL collective supporting BGSU's athletic programs, and also took on the role of Executive Director/COO for the WLRS Foundation at Wood Lane Residential Services, Inc.

Cal Bowers received their Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Marketing/Business from Bowling Green State University, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. After completing their undergraduate degree, they pursued a Masters degree in Sports Administration/Business at Ohio University from 1996 to 1997. Prior to their higher education, Cal attended DeKalb High School from 1987 to 1991. In addition to their formal education, Cal Bowers has obtained several certifications including Sales Training Bootcamp from Sandler Training in April 2022, Series 63 from NASAA - administered by FINRA in January 2021, Series 6 from FINRA in August 2020, Insurance Consultant, Life, Variable from the Ohio Department of Insurance in June 2020, Notary Public from the Ohio Secretary of State in September 2017, and Private Aircraft Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in September 2003.
