Andrew Latham

Senior Vice President Energy Research at Wood Mackenzie

Andrew Latham has over 25 years of experience in the energy industry. Andrew worked as a Geologist at Ranger Oil from 1990 to 1995, where they specialized in international new ventures and later became a project geologist for Angola. Since 1995, Andrew has been a Senior Vice President of Energy Research at Wood Mackenzie, where they provide analysis and assistance to major and independent companies in developing their exploration and energy strategies. Andrew also leads the Exploration Strategy offering within the Upstream Consulting business.

Andrew Latham attended the University of Wales, Cardiff from 1986 to 1989, where they obtained a PhD in Geology with a focus on the Precambrian Cambrian transition in Morocco. Prior to that, Latham completed their BSc in Geology from Imperial College London between 1983 and 1986.
