Octavi Uyà

Octavi Uyà is a director and co-founder of Woodea since 2022. Prior to that, they were the co-founder and CEO of Nautal, a leading online boat rental agency in Spain and a global player in the industry, from 2013 to 2021. Octavi also co-founded Favoralia, the first social network for favor exchange, from 2012 to 2013. Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Octavi worked as a manager responsible for the CABA area of Permanent Financial Advisory at Deloitte from 2009 to 2013. Octavi also served as a team leader of auditing at Caixa Catalunya from 2007 to 2008 and as a senior at Deloitte from 2002 to 2007.

Octavi Uyà completed a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the Instituto de Inteligencia Artificial in 2021. In 2006, they obtained a Financial Risk Manager certification from GARP. Octavi also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, which they completed from 1998 to 2002. In 2015, Octavi attended the MYBA Advanced Superyacht Charter Seminar at MYBA.
