Chris Cunningham

Chris Cunningham has extensive experience in editorial roles, currently serving as Editor of Small Boats Monthly at WoodenBoat Publications since May 2014. Prior to this, Chris was the Editor of Sea Kayaker magazine from August 1989 to February 2014. Chris's early career included a position as Assistant to the Chief of Exhibits at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of African Art from 1987 to 1989, contributing to the opening of several early exhibitions. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Art and Religion from Bowdoin College, attended Smith College, and graduated from Lakeside School.
