Andrea Tassera

Andrea Tassera's work experience includes a role as a Global Specialist - Design Technology at Woods Bagot since January 2020. Andrea also served as a DSUG Committee Member at Dynamo Sydney User Group starting in January 2018. In October 2017, Andrea was a Speaker at the Dynamo User Group Computational Design Workshop in Sydney, Australia, where they presented a workflow on interoperability between Rhino and Revit. Andrea was an Academic Tutor at the University of Sydney from February 2020 to July 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Technology Specialist at Willow from January 2017 to December 2019. Andrea also held the position of Technology Specialist at Ridley from October 2018 to April 2019, and as a Computational Design Manager at Ridley from January 2017 to September 2018. Before that, Andrea worked as a Revit Technician (Digital Fabrication Specialist) at AR-MA in 2016. From 2014 to 2016, Andrea was a Senior Design Analyst and Design Analyst at GIA (Gordon Ingram Associates), specializing in daylight design. Andrea's earlier experience includes working as an Architect at UGS - Underground Studio from November 2011 to February 2015, and as an Intern at Vilnius Architecture Studio - VAS.lt from May 2014 to August 2014.

Andrea Tassera completed their education from 2006 to 2014 at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. They obtained a Laurea Specialistica degree in Architettura e dell'Ingegneria edile (Architecture and Building Engineering) with a field of study in Ingegneria edile ed architettura (Civil and Architectural Engineering).

In addition to their formal education, Andrea Tassera has also obtained several certifications. In April 2021, they received a certification in CLR Reflection for Developers from LinkedIn. They also earned a Principles of Computing (Part 1) certification from Coursera in April 2020. Furthermore, in December 2018, they completed Harvard's CS50 - Introduction to Computer Science program from CS50.
