Efren MacAbuhay

Efren Macabuhay has a diverse work experience in the field of Document Control. Efren started their career in 2006 at EC Harris, where they served as a Document Controller. During their time there, they reported to the project manager and project director and provided assistance to the project team. Efren also maintained the integrity of the data in the Project Document Management system.

In 2009, Efren joined Roya Project Management as a Document Controller. In this role, they checked incoming documents for readiness, logged and scanned them, and submitted them to the senior project manager. Efren also distributed technical submittals to the relevant trades and disciplines and reported to the project manager and project director.

In 2010, Efren joined Allen & Shariff Corporation as a Senior Document Controller. Efren checked incoming correspondence and documents for readiness, logged and scanned them, and submitted them to the senior project manager for distribution. Efren also implemented company project procedures and distributed technical submittals to the relevant disciplines and parties.

Most recently, Efren worked at Woods Bagot as a Senior Document Controller. Efren was responsible for downloading, extracting, maintaining, and distributing all incoming correspondences and design documents. Efren also processed outgoing documents from the Design Team and updated and maintained Design Document Control submittal and registers.

Efren Macabuhay pursued their education with a strong focus on engineering, specifically Electronics & Communications Engineering and Computer Engineering. From 1988 to 1992, they attended the Central Colleges of the Philippines, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering. Following this, from 1992 to 1994, Efren continued their studies at the same institution and obtained another Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree, but this time in Electronics & Communications Engineering.
