Hayden White

Global Leader, Director Of Masterplanning And Urban Design at Woods Bagot

Hayden White has extensive work experience in the field of urban design and planning. Hayden began their career in 2012 as a Studio Design Tutor at The University of Edinburgh. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Designer at Seton Design. In 2016, they joined Harvard University and the Ecological Urbanism Collaboration as an Associate, where they stayed until 2017. During this time, they also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. From 2018 to 2020, Hayden worked as an Urban Designer at SWA Group. Hayden then moved on to Situ Plan, where they held the position of Senior Urban Designer from 2020 to 2021. In 2021, they joined BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group as a Senior Urban Designer, a role they held until 2022. Currently, Hayden is working as the Regional Leader of Masterplanning and Urban Design (EME) at both Woods Bagot and ERA-co, starting in November 2022.

Hayden White's education history includes a Master of Architecture and Urban Design from Harvard University. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Architecture (MArch) from The University of Edinburgh. White also completed a summer course on Advanced Architecture and Urban Design at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia. Hayden earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Art/Art Studies, General from Edinburgh College of Art. Furthermore, White holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from The University of Edinburgh. In 2012, they completed a summer course in Architecture and Urbaneering at ONE lab.
