Maria Kovats

Maria Kovats has a diverse range of work experience in the field of architecture and design. MARIA currently holds the position of Senior Designer at Woods Bagot since May 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Allen Jack+Cottier Architects from 2014 to 2019, where they were involved in various projects in the aged care, senior living, and residential sectors. From 2013 to 2014, they served as an Architectural Team Leader at Kannfinch Architects. Maria also worked as a Project Architect at Paynter Dixon Constructions from 2012 to 2013 and as a Project Architect Designer at Robertson & Marks Architects from 2009 to 2012, specializing in apartment complexes and residential projects. Earlier in their career, they worked as a CAD Architect at Gray Puksand Architects, Cad_Revit Architect at Tony Masters Design / ARCHITECTUS, and as an Architect Designer at Marchese + Partners Architects. Maria started their career as an Architectural Assistant at Liskowski Fox Architects, where they gained experience in luxury apartments, office spaces, and educational facilities. MARIA began their professional journey as a Mechanical Draftsperson at KMG Development in 1994.

Maria Kovats has an education history in the field of architecture. MARIA attended UTS, where they studied architecture. MARIA later pursued a B EngArch degree at Engineering and Information Technology, specializing in architecture. Maria also obtained an Advanced Diploma in Architecture from TAFE NSW. Additionally, they completed a Draftperson Mechanical Certificate at Miller Technical College. To further enhance their skills, Maria also earned a Computer Aided Drafting Certificate from Miller Technical College, with a focus on architecture.
