Mary Joy Sunglao

Mary Joy Sunglao has a strong background in finance and accounting with extensive experience in various roles. Mary Joy currently works as a Management Accountant at Woods Bagot since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Finance Manager at Publicis Groupe from 2020 to 2022, where they oversaw day-to-day financial operations, performed budgeting and forecasting, and ensured compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Mary also worked as a Finance Manager at Publicis Media from 2015 to 2020, where they were responsible for financial reporting, month-end closing processes, and providing strategic support and analysis. Before that, they held positions as a Management Accountant at Hyder Consulting from 2012 to 2014, Assistant Accountant at Hypercom in 2011, and GL Accounting Analyst at IBM Global Process Services from 2010 to 2011. Mary Joy started their career as a Junior Auditor at Punongbayan & Araullo from 2008 to 2009, where they performed detailed audit work and reviewed financial statements. Mary is skilled in financial analysis, process improvement, and managing financial operations.

Mary Joy Sunglao attended De La Salle University - Dasmarinas from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. In October 2008, they became a Certified Public Accountant through the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Later, in April 2015, they obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants.
