Samer Charara

Samer Charara is a Principal at Woods Bagot, responsible for steering the Dubai Studio's business growth and acting as the regional People and Culture leader since January 2007. Previously, Samer held the position of Senior Associate, leading architectural teams and managing project delivery while coordinating with various consultants and stakeholders. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Architect at CONRAD GARGETT from July 2004 to January 2007, where Samer oversaw institutional, health, and defense projects in Queensland, Australia, managing all phases from concept to site supervision. Earlier career stages included a role as a Graduate Architect at John Demos Architect Pty Limited, focusing on medium density residential and commercial projects. Samer obtained a Bachelor of Architecture in Planning and Design with a concentration in Project Management from the University of Melbourne between 1997 and 2002.
