Cam Carbone

Cam Carbone is an experienced Ocean Instrumentation Engineer at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution since April 2021. Prior to this role, Cam worked as a Research and Development Engineer at the Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping, contributing to the Stratified Ocean Dynamics of the Arctic project. Additional experience includes mechanical engineering at Teledyne Marine, where work focused on deep ocean scientific instrumentation, and a brief internship at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, where Cam assembled and programmed oceanographic gear. Early career roles include acoustic testing at MSI Transducers and physical therapy assistance, alongside coaching youth hockey and landscaping services. Cam holds a degree from the University of New Hampshire, earned between 2016 and 2020.
