Shikhar Rai

Shikhar Rai currently serves as a Post Doctoral Investigator at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, focusing on air-sea interactions in the tropical Pacific and running coupled atmosphere and ocean models. Previous experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Teaching Assistant at the University of Rochester, and various engineering positions at Chiyoda Corporation and E&T companies, specializing in CFD and CAE. Shikhar Rai holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester, as well as a Master of Science and a Bachelor in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution and Tribhuvan University, respectively.
