Emily McGinnis

Emily McGinnis serves as the Head of Australasia Exploration & New Ventures at Woodside Energy since June 2022, overseeing traditional energy exploration and growth in Australia and Southeast Asia. Prior to this role, Emily held several positions at BHP from June 2014 to June 2022, including Exploration Manager for various projects in the Gulf of Mexico and Australia. Emily's earlier experience includes roles as a Geophysicist at Marathon Oil Corporation and internships at Hess Corporation and Island Oil and Gas. Emily earned a Master’s degree in Geophysics from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics from the University of South Carolina.
