Matt Sands

Matt Sands is an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineer at Woodside Energy, having joined the company in February 2019. Currently, Matt manages I&C modifications within the Karratha Gas Plant Technical Support Team as part of a process safety-driven CAPEX program. Prior to this role, Matt served in various capacities related to instrumentation and controls engineering at Woodside, including positions as a Production Allocation Engineer and Site-based Surveillance Engineer. Previous experience includes work as a Sales Associate at Beacon Lighting, where transaction management and stock processing were key responsibilities, and as an Airline Service Agent at Aerocare Flight Support, focusing on passenger processing and mentoring. Matt holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Curtin University, completed in 2018.
