Matt Woodhouse

Matt Woodhouse serves as the Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance International at Woodside Energy since July 2022, having previously held various senior finance roles at BHP from 2002 to June 2022. Notable positions at BHP include Head of Business Interfaces for the Trion Project, where responsibilities encompassed risk mitigation, project governance, and compliance. As Acting VP Finance for BHP's Petroleum business, Matt led a significant transition project for Finance activities and oversaw financial performance as Head of Reporting for the Petroleum segment. Matt's extensive career also features roles in financial management across multiple regions, including responsibilities for large-scale assets in the Eagleford and Gulf of Mexico. Matt holds an Honours degree in Economics and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Exeter, as well as an ACA qualification from ICAEW.
