Peter Metcalfe

Peter Metcalfe is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in climate, sustainability, and external affairs. Currently serving as Vice President for Climate, Sustainability and Energy Policy at Woodside Energy, Peter has held multiple leadership roles since joining in 2017. In addition to these responsibilities, Peter is the Deputy Chair and Company Secretary at Co3 Contemporary Dance Australia and represents Woodside on the executive committee of Ipieca, a global oil and gas association. Previous experience includes a tenure as Director of External Affairs for BP, overseeing communications with governments and communities, and serving as Chairman of the Board for Perth Zoo. Peter holds a BA Hons in Politics and Parliamentary Studies from the University of Leeds and has completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
