Rebecca McNicol

Rebecca McNicol is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Group General Counsel at Woodside Energy since January 2011, Rebecca has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including Vice President for both Legal and Commercial functions, primarily focusing on mergers and acquisitions, as well as corporate and marketing law. Prior to joining Woodside Energy, Rebecca worked at Mallesons Stephen Jaques as a Senior Associate and began their career at Slaughter and May as an Associate. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with a major in Finance, both obtained from Murdoch University between 1993 and 1998.
