Sam Bartholomaeus

Sam Bartholomaeus is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Vice President of New Energy Strategy and Vice President of Renewables and Power at Woodside Energy since June 2022. Prior to this role, Sam held various leadership positions at BHP from January 2009 to June 2022, including A/Vice President of Energy & Carbon Offsets and Head of Energy (Australia). Sam's earlier career includes positions as Business Development Advisor at Dampier Bunbury Pipeline and Policy Officer at the Western Australian Government. Sam holds an MBA from Curtin University and additional qualifications from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, FINSIA, and the University of Western Australia.
