Tara Bily

Tara Bily, B. Comm has extensive experience in human resources and has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Tara is currently the Head of Human Resources at Woodside Energy. Before joining Woodside Energy in 2022, Tara worked at BHP for over a decade. At BHP, they held positions such as Principal Transformation and Head of Human Resources for BHP Petroleum. Tara was also the Manager of Human Resources for Iron Ore and Projects & Operations (Potash) at BHP. Prior to working at BHP, Tara gained valuable experience at The Mosaic Company, where they served as the HR Manager for the Colonsay Operation and Senior Human Resources Supervisor for Belle Plaine. Throughout their roles, Tara has been responsible for implementing HR strategies, providing advisory support, and leading teams to ensure the attraction, retention, and development of a skilled workforce.

Tara Bily obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Human Resources from the University of Saskatchewan. Tara attended the university from 1995 to 1999 to complete their undergraduate education.
