MaSheena L. has a strong background in human resources, starting in 2005 at Best Buy as a Talent Development Specialist/Training. MaSheena was responsible for employee onboarding, recruiting, training, and talent management. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at MarketSource Inc., first as a Human Resources Generalist and then as a Human Resource Business Partner, supporting various business sectors across the US and Canada. Since 2018, they have been working at Woodward Academy, initially as a Human Resources Manager and currently as the Director of Human Resources.

In 2003 to 2004, they attended Empire Beauty School-Dunwoody and obtained a degree in Cosmetology, specializing as a Master Cosmetologist. MaSheena L. also possesses a certification in PHR from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
