Daenon L. Gault-Vasconez

Daenon L. Gault-Vasconez has over 25 years of experience in talent acquisition, college relations, diversity, and inclusion.

Currently, they are the Head of University Relations and IDEA Strategy Manager at Woodward, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of energy control solutions for aerospace and industrial markets.

Prior to that, they served as the Inclusion & Diversity Office: Sr. Manager, University Relations and HBCU and MSI Partnerships at Carrier for one year.

Before joining Carrier, Daenon worked at Carrier Corporation for three years as the Sr. Manager of Rotational Programs.

Daenon L. also spent a significant portion of their career at GEICO, where they held various positions, including Sr. Corp. Talent Acquisition, College Relations Manager, and Diversity Champion. Daenon L. managed relationships with schools across the Southeast, coordinated recruiting efforts, and interviewed candidates for different roles within the company.

Additionally, they worked as a National College Recruiter for GEICO, responsible for managing relationships with schools in the South/Southwest region, including Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, Colorado, Southern California, and Nevada.

Throughout their career, Daenon has demonstrated strong expertise in university relations, diversity initiatives, and talent acquisition.

Daenon L. Gault-Vasconez obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Sociology from Bradford College, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. They have also obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including Diversity Recruiting, Video Interview Tips, Developing a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Program, Skills for Inclusive Conversations, and Unconscious Bias, in different years ranging from 2020 to 2023.
