Hoonbin Hong

Hoonbin Hong is an Engineering Project Manager at Woojin Inc. since October 2008, specializing in development projects for nuclear power plants, including MI and organic cable assemblies, CEDM coils, In-Vessel CEDMs, and position indication systems for CEA. Previously, Hoonbin served as a Principal Research Engineer focused on condition monitoring and diagnosis of rotating machinery for industrial applications. Prior to joining Woojin, Hoonbin worked at Korea Aerospace Industries, Ltd. from February 1998 to August 2002 as a Structural Test Engineer, where responsibilities included conducting full-scale airframe static tests on the T-50 trainer, preparing test plans, designing dummy structures, and evaluating measured data. Hoonbin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, completed in 2008.
