Paul Mason is an experienced medical anthropologist and educator with extensive roles in academia and research. Currently serving as a Sessional Lecturer at Macquarie University since February 2022, Mason has been an Honorary Affiliate and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research since July 2013, focusing on a TB screening program in Vietnam. Mason previously coordinated and lectured for the Masters of Conservation Education at Taronga Conservation Society Australia and held various academic positions at Monash University and Macquarie University, covering a range of subjects in anthropology. Mason's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Anthropology from Macquarie University and specialized training in TB research methods from McGill University, complemented by a Bachelor in Biomedical Science from the University of Melbourne.
