Rick Householder

Rick Householder is an experienced Geospatial Program Director at Woolpert since April 2022 and has been an Associate Lecturer/Adjunct Professor at Nova Southeastern University since January 2007, where co-development of a GIS Science minor and teaching various geospatial and environmental classes has been a focus. Previously, Rick served as the Geospatial Section Leader at the South Florida Water Management District from March 2015 to April 2022, overseeing a team of geospatial scientists and earning the ESRI’s Special Achievements in GIS Award in 2016. Rick's extensive background includes roles as a Senior Scientist/Geographer at the South Florida Water Management District, an Adjunct Instructor at Florida Atlantic University, and as an Airship Technician/Environmental Specialist at Goodyear Airship Operations. Rick holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Geography/GIS and Environmental Geology, respectively, from Florida Atlantic University.
