Rachel Mead

Rachel Mead is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources and organizational transformation, currently serving as People Lead for Group Transformation at Woolworths Group since April 2022. Rachel's role involves collaborating with various Woolworths brands to develop and implement people strategies. In addition, Rachel holds the position of Non Executive Director at Out for Australia, where oversight and guidance are provided to empower LGBTQIA+ individuals in their early careers. Rachel also serves as Director at Raven Mead Hospitality, managing HR functions across multiple hospitality venues. Prior roles include General Manager People at Woolworths Supermarkets and Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Woolworths Group, where significant contributions were made to foster an inclusive workplace culture. Rachel has earned recognition, including being a finalist at the Australian LGBTI Awards and achieving Gold Tier Status in the Australian Workplace Equality Index. Rachel holds a Master’s Degree in Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
