Karin Koopman

Karin Koopman is an experienced advisor and manager with a strong background in urban development and housing. Currently serving as Relatiemanager at WoonFriesland since January 2016, Karin has held various significant roles, including being a member of the Raad van Commissarissen at De Huismeesters and serving as an interim beleidsadviseur for the Gemeente Heerenveen. With expertise ranging from housing market research to project realization, Karin has consistently contributed to policy development and sustainable housing initiatives throughout diverse positions held since 1988. Educational credentials include a Doctorate in Social Geography from the University of Groningen and a first-degree teaching certification in Geography and Social Geography.
