Nate Newsom

Nate Newsom is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user experience and visual design management. Currently serving as UX/VX Manager at Woot, Inc. since January 2021, Nate is responsible for overseeing both user experience and visual design teams. Additionally, as Global Design Manager at Amazon since November 2014, Nate manages a global team of over 145 design professionals across multiple categories and drives operational initiatives to enhance organizational performance. Previous roles at Amazon include Sr. Global Program Manager and Associate Creative Director, where Nate collaborated with diverse teams on marketing and merchandising across various regional markets. Earlier career experiences consist of leading visual design projects for government web properties at Number 41 Media, along with design roles at FLIPP Advertising Inc., Rare Method, DVD Masters, and RFX Brand + Communications. Nate holds an Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Red Deer Polytechnic.
