Incheol Kim

Incheol Kim has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 16 years in the technology industry. Incheol is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Woowa Bros., a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at SAP Labs Korea from February 2021 to May 2022.

From 2017 to 2021, Incheol worked at SAMSUNG SDS as a Research Software Engineer in the AI Research Center and Cloud Tech Lab. Here, they played a key role in designing and implementing a custom scheduler for TensorFlow training jobs at a GPU cluster, as well as participating in the design of a Deep Learning Platform.

Before joining SAMSUNG SDS, Incheol worked at SK planet as a Software Engineer from September 2014 to February 2017. During their tenure, they designed and implemented an enterprise data quality management system and established and operated a BI system for online marketing services. Incheol also served as an instructor in the field of query performance optimization and data modeling.

Prior to SK planet, Incheol worked at Encore as a Data Architect from February 2012 to June 2014. In this role, they optimized SQL and reorganized indexes for performance, focusing on clients such as HYUNDAI GLOVIS, China Ansung Insurance, and Korea National Health Insurance Service. Additionally, they served as an instructor for SQL performance optimization and data modeling.

From February 2010 to January 2012, Incheol worked at Samsung Electronics as a Software Engineer in the Global Mobile Service Platform Team. Here, they focused on data modeling and SQL optimization for the Mobile App Store Service Platform in Europe, as well as designing a Data Warehouse for the Samsung Mobile App store in Europe.

Incheol began their career at TmaxSoft Inc. as a Software Engineer from January 2006 to December 2009. Here, they worked on R&D projects, including designing and implementing an In-memory RDBMS and developing components such as the Transaction Manager and Memory Manager.
