Dr. Michael Horan CPA, Ed.D, currently serves as the Executive Vice President and CFO at Worcester Polytechnic Institute since July 2021, having previously held similar leadership roles at Illinois Institute of Technology and Capital University. With extensive financial management experience in higher education, Dr. Horan has overseen significant budgets and financial operations, optimizing organizational structures to enhance revenue and reduce costs. Recognized as ‘CFO of the Year’ by Atlanta Business Chronicle during tenure at Oglethorpe University, Dr. Horan has also contributed to academia as a professor, teaching courses in business and finance.
