Professor Of ECE And Cs, Director Of Cwins at Worcester Polytechnic Institute

Kaveh Pahlavan is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the fields of electrical and computer engineering. As the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of IJWIN since January 1994, Kaveh also serves as a Professor of ECE and CS and Director of CWINS at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a position held since September 1985, with a focus on wireless access and localization technologies. Kaveh has contributed to Skyhook Wireless as Chief Technical Advisor since 2006 and has been recognized as a Fellow of IEEE since 1996. Additionally, Kaveh co-founded the IEEE PIMRC and served on its Steering Committee from 1989 to 2013. Educationally, Kaveh earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a Master's degree from the University of Tehran, along with initial graduate studies at the University of Oklahoma.
