Leah Jewell

Leah Jewell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the education and workforce sectors. As Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer at Work Simplr since June 2020, Leah is transforming freelance work through an on-demand workforce of vetted students. Previously, Leah spent 18 years at Pearson, where roles included Managing Director of Employability Solutions and Services, responsible for a $100M P&L, and Managing Director of Workforce Readiness, overseeing a $500M product portfolio. Leah also served as President of Health Science and Careers, managing a $250M learning services P&L. Additional experience includes a tenure as Editorial Director at Prentice Hall and a board member of the IoT Talent Consortium. Leah holds advanced degrees in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from HEC Paris and Stanford University, along with a Certificate from the Yale School of Management.
