Director Of Engineering at Canary

Andrew Stuntz has been working in the tech industry since 2014. Andrew began their career as a Lab Coordinator and Lead in the Robotic GNOME Lab at Fort Lewis College. In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of New Mexico and as a Student Researcher in the VerLAB at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. That same year, they also worked as an Engineer at Impyrium. In 2016, they worked as a Junior Web Developer at E7 Systems, LLC and as a Ruby on Rails Developer at Brivity. Andrew then moved on to work as a Senior Software Engineer at Headway in 2018. That same year, they also Co-Founded Kegmeisters, where they Developed SaaS product using API only RoR instance serving a JSON API formatted JSON to the frontend which was developed in React and React Native. Andrew Architected, built, and tested entire authorization, signup, inventory checkout/check-in (QR Scanning), payment processing, and reservation features as well as all other necessary features for both React-Native and React. Andrew also Developed automatic deployment and scaling associated with the RoR backend. In 2020, they were appointed Chief Technology Officer at The D2D Experts. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Director Of Engineering at Canary.

Andrew Stuntz obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Physics from Fort Lewis College in 2015. Subsequently, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico School of Engineering in 2016. In February 2015, they were certified as an Engineer in Training by the NCEES.
