About Workato

Workato is the only integration and automation platform that is as simple as it is powerful — and because it’s built to power the largest enterprises, it is quite powerful.

Simultaneously, it’s a low-code/no-code platform. This empowers any user (dev/non-dev) to painlessly automate workflows across any apps and databases.

We’re proud to be named a leader by both Forrester and Gartner and trusted by 7,000+ of the world's top brands such as Box, Grab, Slack, and more. But what is most exciting is that this is only the beginning.

Why join us?

Ultimately, Workato believes in fostering a flexible, trust-oriented culture that empowers everyone to take full ownership of their roles. We are driven by innovation and looking for team players who want to actively build our company.

But, we also believe in balancing productivity with self-care. That’s why we offer all of our employees a vibrant and dynamic work environment along with a multitude of benefits they can enjoy inside and outside of their work lives.

If this sounds right up your alley, please submit an application. We look forward to getting to know you!

Also, feel free to check out why:

  • Business Insider named us an “enterprise startup to bet your career on”

  • Forbes’ Cloud 100 recognized us as one of the top 100 private cloud companies in the world

  • Deloitte Tech Fast 500 ranked us as the 17th fastest growing tech company in the Bay Area, and 96th in North America

Responsibilities

The SDR team at Workato is growing and looking for individuals who are highly motivated to be successful and join a fast-growing tech company! The new logo SDR team supports Workato’s commercial sales team, and is responsible for breaking into new accounts via outbound. You can expect stable expectations and processes, with clear guidance and support from leadership. The team is very collaborative and helpful, it’s very common for someone to share the exact email they used to book a meeting with in our team Slack.

As a Sales Development Representative, you have a direct and measurable impact on company revenue. Your primary responsibility will be building a strong pipeline for your Account Executive by booking meetings with key executives at target accounts. You will book meetings via email, social selling, or cold calling and will have clear expectations for activity and outcomes – along with plenty of support and enablement to help you achieve your highest potential.

You would be a great fit if you are passionate about sales (or about learning how to sell!). Ideally, you are creative or consider yourself a problem solver. Excitement about joining Workato and the future of automation is important, too. Don’t sweat it if you don’t know all of the technical stuff on our website yet; as long as you have a passion for sales and tech, we’ll teach you the rest.

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • Some selling experience is required, ideally one of the following: 6 months as an SDR, 6 months as a recruiter, sales internship or sales certificate through university.
  • High energy, positive attitude with the ability to take initiative; strong work ethic, self-directed and resourceful
  • Strong customer orientation, dedication, and passion for delivering a great customer experience.
  • Strong collaboration skills, and excitement to work as a part of a team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of business applications, especially Google Apps, Outreach, Zoominfo, Slack and Salesforce.
  • Must be willing to work hybrid and commute to San Francisco office 2 days per week
  •

For California applicants, the on-target earnings (OTE) is $80,000.00 plus benefits, perks, and equity.
