A.j. Cook

A.J. Cook has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles.

Starting in 2005, Cook worked at Cook Bros. Corporation, their family construction and remodeling company, where they held the position of Account Executive/Project Manager until 2012. During this time, Cook cross-trained in various business disciplines and incorporated design, technical, and project management practices into their everyday work. They also led small-project sales efforts and closed over $1M in small projects from 2008-2012.

Following their time at Cook Bros. Corporation, Cook joined Vocus as an Account Executive for Small Business from 2012 to 2013.

In 2013, Cook moved on to NewBrand. (acquired by Sprinklr) where they held the positions of Account Executive for Mid Market from 2013 to 2014, and later, Account Executive for Enterprise from 2014 to 2015.

Next, Cook worked at Optoro as an Account Executive for Enterprise from 2015 to 2017.

In 2017, Cook joined Stardog Union as North American Sales from 2017 to 2018, and later held the position of Director of Sales - Financial Services from 2018 to 2018.

Following Stardog Union, Cook worked at Endera Systems, where they were in Enterprise Sales from 2019 to 2019, and later served as the Director of Strategic Markets from 2019 to 2021.

Currently, Cook is employed at Workato, where they began as a Senior Account Executive for Embedded & OEM Platform from 2021 to 2023. They are currently serving as the Lead - Major Accounts, Embedded & OEM Platform, starting in February 2023.

Throughout their career, Cook has gained experience in sales, account management, and leadership roles, with a focus on major accounts, embedded systems, and strategic markets.

A.J. Cook completed their high school education at James Madison High School from 1999 to 2003. A.J. then pursued their higher education at George Mason University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. Furthermore, in 2002, they achieved the rank of Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America. In 2021, they obtained an Automation Pro I Certification from Workato.
