Clarence Wong

Clarence Wong has a diverse work experience in the field of payroll and HR. Clarence currently works at Workato as the Global Payroll Process Lead, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this role, they were a Global Payroll Specialist at Workato from March 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining Workato, Clarence had extensive experience at PwC Singapore. Clarence started as a Payroll Consultant in May 2018 and was later promoted to Senior Payroll Consultant in July 2020. From September 2020 to March 2021, they took on the role of HR & Payroll Assistant Manager (Secondment), where they were seconded to a bank to focus on HR shared services and payroll. In these roles, Clarence was responsible for various HR and payroll operations, including data management, benefits administration, employee life cycle management, and payroll processing for approximately 1000 employees.

Prior to their time at PwC Singapore, Clarence worked as a Payroll Specialist at i-Admin Payroll & HR Services from March 2017 to May 2018.

Clarence Wong completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management at RMIT University from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Financial Business Informatics from Temasek Polytechnic, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including "Compensation and Benefits Management workshop" from HRSINGAPORE in June 2023, "Excel 2016 VBA Macro" from Intellisoft Systems in July 2019, and "Deliver Service Excellence" from SIRS in February 2013.
