Oleg Tolmashov

Oleg Tolmashov has a diverse work experience in software development and leadership roles. Oleg is currently working as a Software Development Engineer at Workato, starting in 2023. Prior to this, Oleg worked as a Lead Ruby Developer at Mokka, a fintech company specializing in financial and information services for retail chains, from July 2022 to March 2023. In this role, they were responsible for system design, fixing and improving existing systems, developing new services, and translating business objectives into actionable tasks. Oleg also served as the Teamlead deputy and managed the team. Oleg's achievements at Mokka include implementing a new billing system, reducing services coupling, and rewriting the backend for a merchant's cabinet to launch in a new country.

Before Mokka, Oleg worked at evosoft.dev, where they held multiple roles. Oleg started as a Ruby Developer from May 2018 to June 2019. Then, they became a Ruby TeamLead from June 2019 to March 2021, responsible for backend development, system design, code review, and team management. Oleg's achievements at evosoft.dev include leading a team of four people and improving project observability. Oleg also developed an internal rspec course for junior developers to improve code coverage and project stability.

In 2017, Oleg worked as a Ruby Developer at Sibdev and as a QA Intern at "Очень Интересно".

Oleg Tolmashov obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Siberian Federal University from 2016 to 2020. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Information systems architecture from Siberian Federal University from 2020 to 2022.
