Dmitry Ogurtsov

Dmitry Ogurtsov has over 12 years of work experience. Dmitry began their career in 2008 as a Software Engineer at Institutul de Dezvoltare a Societăţii Informaţionale. In 2010, they joined GPI Holding as a Software Engineer and was asked to rejoin in 2011 as a Team Leader. In 2011, they also joined Compunet Group as a Software Engineer. In 2013, they co-founded 5Pointers and managed the technical team. In 2014, they joined Webrepublic AG as a Software Engineer. In 2019, they joined Material World as a Software Engineer, where they played a major role in migrating the 100k+ lines codebase from Python 2 to Python 3 and built an Instagram marketing automation software. In 2020, they joined Fygo as a Technical Lead, where they built and managed the engineering team from scratch and designed and maintained the technical infrastructure. In 2022, they joined Opply as a Lead Software Engineer, where they were responsible for the architecture, system design, infrastructure, tech interviews, and wrote new code. Dmitry is currently a Technical Lead at Workbounce.

Dmitry Ogurtsov attended the Technical University of Moldova from 2007 to 2010, where they studied Computer Science. From 1995 to 2012, they attended the Lyceum "Alecu Russo" and obtained a bachelor's degree in English and German. In April 2013, they obtained a certification in MongoDB from MongoDB.
