Aman Kumar

Aman Kumar is the current CFO at Workex. Prior to this, they were a corporate finance consultant at Trent Ltd from January 2018 to December 2021. There, they implemented identified growth initiatives in conjunction with finance and strategy teams, identified process improvement measures to improve realizations and moderated portfolio risk for retail outlets, acquisition and monetization of retail assets.

Before Trent Ltd, Aman Kumar was at Tata Capital as the Vice President of Private Equity from April 2014 to December 2018. At Tata Capital, they were part of the team that developed investment strategies for proposed new private equity funds and was responsible for raising investor commitments from large global pools of capital, including securing the single largest capital commitment of the time for the sector. Aman also evaluated time-limited opportunity to apply for Payments Bank license as per RBI guidelines.

From April 2012 to October 2012, Aman Kumar was the General Manager at Tata Advanced Materials Ltd. Aman was also a Board Member at Aurora Integrated Systems Pvt Ltd from January 2008 to December 2013.

Aman Kumar has a chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a 3-tier program from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Aman also has a CFA from the CFA Institute in the fields of alternative investments, valuation, economics, portfolio management, and Hansraj College. Aman is also certified from the Tata Business Excellence Group (TBExG) in Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM) Assessor.

They are on a team with Tarun Baloch - Co-Founder & CTO, Anupam Acharya - Co-Founder & COO. Their manager is Nimish Sharma, Co-Founder & CEO.
