Valerie Barker

Valerie Barker is an experienced educator with a strong background in adult education and middle school instruction. Currently serving as Lead Instructor for Adult Education at Workforce Essentials, Inc. since June 2016, Valerie Barker trains and manages teachers and paraprofessionals, enhancing their productivity and implementing data-driven strategies to exceed state educational goals. Prior experience includes a 15-year tenure as a Teacher with the Houston County Board of Education, where Valerie Barker specialized in middle school reading, language arts, and science, while also leading teacher training using the ADDIE Model and evaluating teaching staff performance. Valerie Barker holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from Austin Peay State University, obtained from 1994 to 1997.
