Maricha Friedman currently serves as the Innovation Design Lead at Workforce Snohomish, a position held since August 2024. Previously, Maricha was the Program Manager at the Seattle Jobs Initiative from August 2019 to October 2024. Maricha's experience also includes working as a Research Coordinator at Innovations for Poverty Action, where responsibilities included managing a randomized evaluation of financial literacy education and overseeing the local office in the Dominican Republic. Earlier roles include Project Associate for the NYU Advanced International Project in Urban Planning, where Maricha worked with the Sucre Municipality in Venezuela, and an intern at the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy, as well as the Organization of American States. Maricha holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning with a focus on International Development from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Spanish from Arizona State University, alongside a Certificate in Python Programming from UW Professional & Continuing Education.
