Laura Harris

Laura Harris has extensive experience in quality assurance and software testing. Laura started their career as a Data Support Specialist at Deluxe Corporation in 1988 and then worked as an Accounts Payable/Tax Assistant at Classic Soft Trim from 1995 to 1996. In 1996, they joined Micro Information Products (MIP) as a Quality Assurance Analyst and was promoted to various roles, including QA Lead. Laura worked on testing the user interface of accounting software. From 1999 to 2002, they served as the QA/Development Lead at MIP. In 2003, they worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Wise Solutions, which was later acquired by Altiris Inc., where they continued their role as a Quality Assurance Analyst until 2007. Laura then joined Symantec as a Quality Assurance Engineer, testing web-based IT life cycle management software. In 2008, they joined WorkForce Software as a Quality Assurance Analyst/Team Lead, where they led the quality assurance efforts for a cloud-based workforce management software.

Laura Harris attended Augsburg University from 1987 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration/Marketing. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1986, they attended Detroit College of Business, focusing on Business/Marketing. Laura's high school education was completed at Edsel Ford High School. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a certification in Software Testing: Exploratory Testing from LinkedIn in 2022.
