Joe Degiovanni

Joe Degiovanni has extensive experience in software engineering and development, with a focus on Java and related technologies. Joe has held various roles in different companies, including software engineer, team lead, senior developer, and consultant. Throughout their career, Joe has worked in agile environments, collaborating with distributed teams and utilizing methodologies such as Scrum. Joe has experience in developing automation software for the insurance industry, streamlining production floor operations, and developing REST APIs. Joe is skilled in Java, Spring, Groovy, NodeJS, Angular, AWS Lambda, Terraform, and Oracle products. Joe has also shown leadership qualities, mentoring junior developers and introducing Agile development methodologies to their teams.

Joe Degiovanni attended Saint John's University from 2004 to 2008 where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. Joe also received an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer certification from Oracle in 2013.
