Owen Cooney

Owen Cooney has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Owen is currently working as an AD, Video Content Production at Workhuman, where they focus on bringing positivity and humanity to the workplace. Prior to this, Owen was self-employed as a Voice Over Semi-Professional. Owen also worked as a Copy Manager at TSYS and as a Senior Copywriter at Circle. Earlier in their career, Owen served as the Head Writer for YOLO Texas at Quarter Moon Productions. Additionally, they held positions as an Associate Creative Director and Senior Copywriter at Digitas, a Copywriter/Producer and Creative Director at The PM Group, and a Writer at The Joey Company. Owen's work experience also includes teaching, as they served as a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at The University of Oregon.

Owen Cooney completed their education at the University of Oregon from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing. Prior to that, they attended Connecticut College from 2002 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English.
