Maarten van 't Wout

Maarten van 't Wout is a Blockchain Developer currently working for Work X and WorkPi, both of which are hiring. Previously, they were the Founder and CTO of Simpact from 2017 to 2021, providing a convenient solution for webshops to have an impact on the world. Before that, they were a Blockchain Application Development & Marketing Intern at Otonomos from 2016 to 2017, where they worked with the company to incorporate companies using smart contracts and automate the work of the notary. On the weekends, they worked with Otonomos at Microsoft Singapore.

Maarten van 't Wout attended Berkshire School in Massachusetts from 2013 to 2014, where they obtained their high school degree. Maarten then went on to Delft University of Technology from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science in Applied Earth Sciences. In 2016, they were awarded a scholarship to the National University of Singapore, where they completed a minor in Business Analytics and Computer Science. Since 2018, they have been attending Delft University of Technology again, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science, Data Science and Technology Track.
