Aoife Whelan

Aoife Whelan is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as an EAP counsellor at Workplace Options since March 2023 and as a psychotherapist at Fairview Therapy Centre since November 2022. Aoife has previously worked as a psychotherapist at Blanchardstown Community Counselling Service from July 2020 to March 2023 and as a therapist with Kilbarrack Coast Community Programme from August 2020 to April 2021. Prior to their mental health career, Aoife held various roles, including Shift Manager at McDonald's for over eleven years and Commis Chef at Ely’s Restaurant & Bar. In addition to professional experience, Aoife has an academic background that includes a BSc (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and a Certificate in Cyberpsychology from Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology. Aoife has also completed training in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills and First Aid.
