John Fitzgerald

John Fitzgerald is a seasoned professional in the field of psychology, currently serving as the Manager for Mentally Healthy Work at WorkSafe New Zealand since June 2020. Concurrently, John holds the position of Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at Massey University, where John has also served as a Senior Lecturer since March 2015. Prior to these roles, John was the Executive Director and Clinical Psychologist at The Psychology Centre from 2001 to 2015, and worked as a Clinical Psychologist and Psychology Professional Advisor at Taranaki District Health Board from 1992 to 2001. John Fitzgerald earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Psychology from The University of Waikato between 1998 and 2002.
