Mark Preece

Mark Preece has a diverse work experience. Mark is currently working as an Engagement Lead at WorkSafe New Zealand since January 2022. Before that, they worked at Competenz, where they held the positions of Sector Engagement Manager from June 2014 to December 2021 and Industry Manager from May 2013 to June 2014. Prior to their time at Competenz, they worked as a Programme Manager - Forestry at FITEC from July 2008 to May 2013. Additionally, they served as the General Manager at Coromandel Contractors from March 2005 to July 2008.

Mark Preece completed their Bachelor of Forestry Science degree in Forest Management from the University of Canterbury, from 1989 to 1992. Prior to that, they attended Forest View High School in Tokoroa.
