Shawna Wallace has extensive experience in various roles related to aquatics, policy analysis, and process improvement, currently serving as the Manager of Enquiries at WorkSafeNB/Travail sécuritaire NB since February 2016, with additional responsibilities as a Process Improvement Facilitator, Process Manager, and Policy Analyst. Prior to this position, Shawna worked at the Atlantic Salmon Federation as a Research Assistant from May 2013 to February 2016 and held the role of Aquatic Science Technician at Fisheries and Oceans Canada from November 2012 to May 2013. Additional experience includes positions as a Marine Biologist at Island Quest Marine, Conservation Volunteer Coordinator at Nature Conservancy of Canada, and an intern focusing on aquaculture and biological interactions at Fisheries and Oceans Canada. Shawna also served as an Interpreter for the Hopewell Rocks Ocean Tidal Exploration Site from May 2009 to October 2011. Shawna Wallace earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Dalhousie University between 2007 and 2011, following completion of studies at Riverview High School from 2003 to 2007.
